The Truth about Multi-level Marketing.

There are benefits of knowing and experiencing Multi-level Marketing.  I got firsthand knowledge of Multi-level Marketing back when it was at its height and people were easily introduced and convinced of this effortless marketing approach. This type of marketing encouraged individuals to promote products and services that not only benefit the consumer but shares profits through-out the organization. I decided to try Multi-level Marketing for fun and for a learning experience.

Multi-level Marketing: 1 + 1 = 4Great concept? Well, possibly, depending upon what you expected to walk away with. Did you think it would be your next career, a way to gather and meet people, make some extra money, or was it the next get rich scheme? Keep in mind the company that I experienced Multi-level Marketing with is still in business and while this organization was basically based domestically, it is now in more than 23 countries.

The art of Multi-level Marketing is like trying to push a cart up a hill. You need to keep pushing, or eventually it will run out of steam, and you will roll back. Keep in mind, while most will give up before reaching the top, leaving their efforts behind for the person who still has the strength to push. However, if you can go the distance you are certain to pick up additional people to help you push or carry the extra load up the hill. It’s the timing of someone being there to help you push the extra load up the hill that determines your success and to keep going.

The real reason why Multi-level Marketing is so appealing has to do with the power of networking, and feeling at ease to talk to friends and family. Your drive and enthusiasm come from the confidence that you have with your friends and family. You don’t really have enough skills about the product or service you represent. Your family and friends end up placing their trust in you but in reality you may end up feeling the process is to blame for not succeeding as promised….. your trust but in reality, you end-up placing blame on the process for not working as it was promised by the Multi-level Marketing company that you represent.

That being said, I had great times meeting and working with people from all over the world; Furthermore, although today we do not work together, we remain friends.

I’d say the end result was meeting people; however, that wasn’t what I started out to do. What I learned is what I am about to tell you, the secret to Multi-level Marketing – and here it is! If you think you can convince someone to ask someone else to do the same thing that you’re asking them to do; and they too can convince themselves and ask all of their contacts to do the same exact thing, then you can be the first person in Multi-level Marketing to retire as a successful marketing person.  I have to say, I have not met that person yet.

Do some people who attempt to play in Multi-level Marketing really make money, yes? However, that said 4 out of 5 startup restaurants go out of business within the first year. In my opinion, the art of marketing is producing and delivering a product or service which has the highest quality in mind that people want and a level of service bar none. If you truly master the  art of Multi-level Marketing you would have the formula for a great marketing approach and success from the formula of the power of geometric progression.

Do you believe in geometric progression, that 1 + 1 = 4? For an example, 1 + 2 + 4 + 8 + 16 + 32 + 64 + 128 + 256 +… can this type of numbers be attained?  Here lies the secret.

Pyramid scheme

The unsustainable exponential progression of a classic pyramid scheme is a non-sustainable business model that involves promising participant’s payment primarily for enrolling other people into the scheme, rather than from any real investment or sale of products or services to the public. Pyramid schemes are a form of fraud.

Multi-level Marketing

MLM is a marketing strategy in which the sales force is compensated not only for sales they personally generate, but also for the sales of others they recruit, creating a downline of distributors and a hierarchy of multiple levels of compensation. Other terms for MLM include network marketing, direct selling, and referral marketing. These types of approaches have existed for centuries, some with variations to hide their true nature and many people believe that Multi-level Marketing, which is legal, is nothing more than a pyramid scheme.

Conclusion, if you use the art of networking yourself, and you have a great story to share, and you have a product or service that really calls for action, then you have the chance that the power of geometric progression will work for you.
